Ministry of National Defense and NCSIST headline Taiwan exhibitors

Recent development has placed an emphasis on producing indigenous national defense, and NCSIST, the leading military research and development institution in Taiwan, has been one of the primary exhibitors alongside the Ministry of National Defense. This year, the Ministry of National Defense will once again be the largest exhibitor at TADTE.

Mature and complete production chain

With over 150 corporations and 14000 people employed within Taiwan’s aerospace industry, the quality of related products and services has been recognized by global manufacturers as one of the best. The total production value of the industry in 2018 topped out at US$4 billion, while AIDC received a profit of over US$1 billion.

Major foreign corporations exhibiting at TADTE

The global aerospace and defense industry is a big market, and the Ministry of National Defense annually assigns US$6 billion for military procurement purposes. Between 2008 and 2015, a combined US$7.5 billion was spent towards purchases with US corporations, and recently, over US$30 billion was invested towards acquiring the newest fighter jets, tanks, and missiles. Key foreign exhibitors include Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, Collins Aerospace (UTC), General Dynamics, THALES, L3Harris, GE Aviation, Honeywell, and much more.
